Q. I just went shopping for my 7 month old son yesterday (they are having a great sale). He is about 21lbs now and in most other stuff like Gap and Carters is in between the 9-12 month and the 12-18 month clothes. The clothes at Children's Place always seem to run big to me...the 6-9 month stuff is just right on him, even on the bigger side. Do you think they run big? Do you think they shrink a decent amount, if things are a bit big new, will they be better after being washed? I just hate to buy clothes that he will either grow out of in a month or he won't even grow into at all through the winter. He's 4 now, and wears the 4 (4T fits at the waist for pants, but the legs are too short). Other brands, he can easily wear a 5 a lot of the time.
